Kuluin Early Learning Centre

Our Kindergarten provides for the children a program based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines to ensure adequate learning through a play-based curriculum.

This guideline has links to the Early Years Learning Framework.

In the Kindergarten children are encouraged to follow their interests, investigate and experiment as they learn and develop new skills. The Early Childhood Teachers work alongside the children to encourage and support them through the learning process.

The Kindergarten environment has been designed to motivate and cater for individual learning, encourage individual, small group work and whole class collaboration.

It is an environment that celebrates peer achievement in a climate of mutual respect and understanding.

The educators work closely with the children and monitor their learning and encourage their personal areas of interest and new learning experiences.

The programme aims to develop in each child an active curiosity about the world and an enthusiasm for learning based on their own needs, interests and investigations.

The teachers, work in partnership with parents in the children’s care and educational growth, establishing a strong connection in the best interest of each child
